This plant is a great choice for attracting butterflies and bees with the nectar and pollen it produces. Helps to support the Monarch butterfly larvae and provides food and shelter for other pollinators. Although, it is not a monarch's first choice of milkweed, they will still eat it down to a slender stalk. This is the perfect host plant for garden edges or in pollinator planters.
