The White Twinevine is a native evergreen twining milkweed vine that requires moist soils. It prefers full sun to partial shade and grows to a 10-30+' feet! White Twinevine is moderately salt-tolerant, and can tolerate drought. It prefers a soil pH of 5.5-7.0. It is relatively aggressive and grows in many directions however, it will die back with prolonged freezing temperatures. It is best to use this vine on a trellis, fence or arbor.
 
White twinevine is a larval host plant for Monarch, Queen and Soldier butterflies. The white blooms appear in spring and attract butterflies and bees for pollination. It provides shelter and food for beneficial wildlife, and is useful as a ground cover or in hanging baskets.
 
Propagation is done by cuttings, and the seed has a storage life of 3 years with a germination rate of 90% when sown in a light sandy soil.
